Our life in pictures. This is for our family and friends that don't get to see Rileigh as often as we would like and those of you that want to be able to show her off at the click of a mouse. We love y'all.
Eric and I had to take little Rileigh to the doctor again today because she was very fussy Sunday night and was pulling on her ear. Since Eric was off he came with us. She has another double ear infection and they said as soon as she is old enough (9 months) they will put tubes in her ears because she is already a prime canidate. I took these pictures because I forgot to get her clothes out before I left for work and so Daddy dressed her and I was so proud of him because he remembered her bow and shoes and got the correct shirt with the correct bottoms and she looked super cute.
Eric, Kelli, Rileigh and I went shopping at NorthPark today to begin looking at all the different stores that have been suggested to us to find the perfect gown for Rileigh’s baptism on August 24. We went to so many stores and after 2 hours of shopping around we finally looked everywhere there. This weekend we will be going to Willowbend and then we will look at all the options we have found and make a decision. Here is what we found today. Please leave a comment on what you like. We would love to hear your thoughts. I will let you know what we decide on.
This one is from Neiman-Marcus and is one of my favorites so far.
These are some other ones that Neiman's had.
And these are the super cute little shoes they had to match the gowns.
We found these gowns at Dillards. They are the Strasburg Children's brand and they are cute but I really didn't feel like anything really grabbed my attention.
I found this gown online and I think for Eric and me it is perfect my only concern is that since it is handmade and the material used is a linen from Ireland it is a little more than what we wanted to spend. But if you know my husband and me we are very proud of our Irish heritage and he loves shamrocks so I am sure you understand why this is so perfect for us.
Rileigh's first 4th of July was a very busy one. Friday we hung around the house and got ready for our big day. That evening we went to Great Grandma Greer and Pawpaw Clarence's house and had chicken and brisket. After hanging out there and meeting more family, aunts, uncles, and cousins we went to Forney to pop fireworks. Well Rileigh slept while Daddy popped fireworks and Mommy watched. That wrapped up our Friday. Saturday we went to a pool party at our friends house (Matt and Michelle). We stayed there most of the day and then went home. On Sunday Rileigh went and stayed with her Nana and Papa McBain while Daddy went swimming at a friends house and Mommy went to have dinner with friends.
This is Rileigh getting ready for her big day. And here she is dressed and all ready to go!!!
